You sing far, far, farrrrrrr better than I do.
A little constructive criticism... I see where it says this is your first video, you did look a little uncomfortable even stiff at times. Let your voice do your talking and walk folks through your song. The scene playing guitar is good as well as the one walking with your guitar/ traveling. Others could be sitting on a tall stool or on a wood fence. Relax your arm on a post. Moving your hands all over draws away from your singing/song. Slower songs need no sped up video scenes. Save that for fast songs and bending strings. In shots where the background is not important to your story, soften the background, this draws attention to you in the shot. This of course is just my humble opinion.
The song has soul and is laid back... you should be too.
All in all a pretty decent video and a great song.
Thank you for posting it.

:aok I only have 1 RULE..when it comes to music...DONT RUIN A SONG I LOVE! You//////DID NOT  Nice range to your voice,I had it playing in a separate window..NICE JOB. The video..well I am not gonna nit pick it,it was your first...and you have bigger balls than I do :uhoh I couldnt put myself out there like that...so CONFIDENCE is a GOOD THING. I like that you made it YOUR SONG, a song such as this NEEDS THAT TOUCH. Sort of like the best GOSPEL songs, you can pick out the ones who are just singing A SONG and those that LIVED OR FEEL the song....NAILED IT :rock If you take requests...with a SLIGHT key change :uhoh maybe my second fav song Colin Raye----Little Rock. Your tone could kick that out of the park I believe

Nice! For a foreigner like myself the text opens the lyrics far better than just listening. A typo in the text is something to be avoided, though. Especially when it's a grammar typo like at 3:09. Those of us who have seen the teacher's red notes all over our exams can be quite sensitive to such things... ;)
As Shuffler said, you look uncomfortable at times. Green screen filming is not the most natural thing for a man to do. Even actors often suck at it despite having years of training behind them. In the "live" scenes you look perfectly OK.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, guys! Appreciate the feedback. Taking a beloved classic like this and attempting to make it your own is fraught with danger, as you've mentioned. But I love this song, and I'm working with a really great studio, JBO Music Productions, of Nashville. So, on balance, I think we pulled it off. Lots of new music coming soon, originals of mine, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can check out some of my other original work at my homepage, http://www.richowenmusic.com (http://www.richowenmusic.com). If you really liked my version of "Please Come To Boston", there are links on my homepage to purchase it for download.

BBQsam: I've got dozens of recorded originals. Feel free to check them out at www.richowenmusic.com (http://www.richowenmusic.com). Here's the lyrics to one of my songs, "That Woman is a Cougar", which actually made it to number 3 on the IndieWorld Country chart.
Verse 1:
Well, she’s just over forty
Still looks like a million bucks
She’s a struttin’ around
Them young cowboys wanna try their luck
Her girl friends, they all tell her
“Why don’t you find a man your own age”
She ain’t looking for no life partner
Huntin’ season opens today…Yeah…
Chorus:
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl
Tracking down the young men
She’ll love ‘em till they cry out loud
She don’t want to settle down
She likes to catch and release
She’d rather have the hunt
Then sit on down for the feast
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl
Verse 2:
Now she’s trackin’ down her prey
Looks like she’s a ready to pounce
Better watch out, boys
She’ll chew you up and spit you out
She don’t need no sugar daddy
You know she likes ‘em young and lean
This here honky tonk’s her jungle
And kitty’s really diggin’ the scene…
Yeah…
Chorus:
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl
Tracking down the young men
She’ll love ‘em till they cry out loud
She don’t want to settle down
She likes to catch and release
She’d rather have the hunt
Then sit on down for the feast
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl
Bridge:
This ain’t nobody’s granny
That’s plain enough to see
With eyes that look you over
Like you’re fresh, dead meat
She’ll play you like a fiddle
She’ll play you like a toy
You ain’t never gonna tame her
‘Less you’re Siegfried & Roy
Yeah, yeah, yeah…
Chorus:
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl
Tracking down the young men
She’ll love ‘em till they cry out loud
She don’t want to settle down
She likes to catch and release
She’d rather have the hunt
Then sit on down for the feast
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl
That woman is a cougar
Man, she’s just a cat on the prowl…
