Title: Windows 10 update 1803
Post by: AHPoker on August 10, 2018, 09:56:54 PM
Ever since the new Windows update,  as soon as I hit the button to talk, AH crashes to desktop.  I'm looking for a solution, anyone ??

Make sure that any audio cards that you are not using but that appear in Device Manager, are disabled. Also, the AH3 microphone option most point to a legitimate device.

Are you sure that the device you are intending to use as a mic input is actually selected, as well as properly configured in Windows?

If you look for help in technical support they will want a current DXdiag report, which is a really good idea even here.

Bizman to the rescue!

That image is highly exaggerated! I've never had that much hair. The fist size is about right, though, as anyone interested can confirm by looking at the sauna related photos of our meetings.

But thanks.

Glad I could help.

As this case once again proved, it's not about knowing things. It's about remembering where the answer can be read.
