Title: Radar
Post by: haggerty on August 11, 2018, 10:51:35 PM
Please adjust under dar setting from 65ft to ~200ft.
65ft over land has not been possible to maintain since AH3 was introduced.

It would be a good idea to list that altitude in the arena message, especially where we're being experimented on at our expense.

I asked last night and got 3 different answers.

Most don't know where to find that info in the arena settings, myself included.

Yeah, no kidding.  "It's possible to fly below radar" - but then you have to guess the requisite altitude.  :headscratch:

+1 on 200 feet too.  At least if a horde comes in you don't have to climb up to them.

By the way, you can go to arena settings in the menu options, I think its the 2nd tab for Ranges.  It has always listed radar altitude at 65ft, just hoping that with the testing going on we can finally get a different value from Aces High 2, when it was possible to fly that low.

+1. Even 100 feet would be better, but 200 would be good. NOE is pretty much suicidal over land right now.

It should be tied to the distance to the radar and line of sight blocked by any obstacles... lower over water and higher with mountains and canyons blocking the radar...
