Thanks to Lyric1 for his help in finding the info for this skin.

This Ju-88 was part of the second squadron of KG 54 and was based in Italy in 1942.

The paint job helped me get one of my 3 torpedo hits (on a boat EVER) this weekend... I'd say it's a good job...  But it would seem I'm biased...  :cheers:

There is debate if Germans had a ju-88 skin with dark purple and black skin.  No official recorded from Germany but RN shot down a ju-88 in the meditranion sea.  Sailors looking over scattered wreckage reported the skin color of dark purple or blue and black

That is different from blue.  The supposedly Ju-88 had a deep purple or blue with black.   No picture or documentation other than what the RN reported.
