The logs were lost with my last betty as it floated down missing both wings and the tail.....And Sno had just told me I cant fly on just 1 wing!

I happened to catch one of the log papers with my canopy open. It says I had three kills. Ninety percent of this is fifty percent true. :old:

The website never did not work. The issue lies in the log parser not being able to properly communicate to the logs server to pull the information needed to access, parse, and post the logs to the website. If you have PHP coding experience, feel free to drop me a line. Until then, I will continue to work on the issue.
I think this one is a bust.
Keep in mind we have logs. We just currently do not have a way to translate the logs into our usual readable format as found on the ahevents website.

OK let me start. I'm pretty sure I shot down about 30 Betties and maybe 12-15 A6Ms. I'll be modest and claim no more than 3 or 4 Spits.

Impossible! We Pigs saved 31 betties and shot down over 45 Spitfires, with most of our Squadron landing at an enemy field after de-acking, stealing fuel and crappy warm beer, then flying home safely with 17 largely undamaged A6's. :airplane:

The logs are there threes logs will run and record. But until the 2 sites can communicate with each other we cannot post them.
So I will take your bet that 2 will post before 3 by about 1 minute after the problem is resolved.

If the logs will be unavailable due to technical issues, then maybe the setting need to be changed for players to know during the event.

The setting will not be changed the distraction would be immense. The log problem will be worked out we will not be changing the settings.

I record 99.9% of my FSO sorties, or at least the engagements.
Got me a kill near A4, had a fuel leak, flew all the way home landing with 1 gallon.
And my film crashes the viewer! :bhead I sent to Skuzzy to diagnose.

Just know this is being worked on behind the scenes and Spikes is my second favorite hero of all time. Second only to Deadpool.

still no logs????

The logs are there, but they have NOT been loaded to the website. Im sure it has something to do with the server switch they did a week or so ago. The info from the FSO has been logged, it just hasn't found its way to the website yet. Pretty easy to see, just check the web site for the new logs. If they are not there, they haven't fixed it yet.

Here is the problem, in a nutshell.
Google now requires all sites to be secure or they will not post your site in a search. So we had to convert the server handling the raw event log data to be secure.
Now, for another server to access that data requires a different implementation than what was used before. This is just the way it is. Nothing wrong with what was being done before. Google's requirement is forcing this change to happen.
If you need to assign blame for the problem, then Google is your buddy.
If that keeps you happy until we can get this fixed, then that makes me happy. We are actively working with the CM team to fix the issue. The raw log data is all there.
Joomla is kind of getting in the way of this and actually augmented the problem, or we would have had it fixed already.
