If you quote him you can see the video format in the quote. Just be sure to use the youtube Share link for your video, the browser link isn't the same.

Thanks! I wasn’t sure how to make YouTube posts of mine work like his. I’ll do the share next time.

Use the youtube tag in brackets.

However, some people use iPads that will not display the video box so you still need to post the raw link itself as well.
