Title: film viewer problems
Post by: lunaticfringe on September 15, 2018, 11:26:08 PM
some how when I was trying to figure out how to move HTC films I save to my windows live movie maker, to make a movie/film and I try to open a Aces High film file it kicks me to the operating system videos library, and the films I save are not there. I don't know where they go, or if they are even saved. I re down loaded the game but it didn't change anything, hopefully someone can help, thank you. :headscratch:

click on start in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

on the right side select "default programs"

click on the "associate a file....."

scroll down to ahf...

double click ahf and browse to ahf.exe and click ok

AH films are not videos, they are more like instructions for the AH film player. They will not open in movie maker.

You have to save AH films as avi video segments, or you can record AH films with another program like Fraps while you play them with the film viewer.

You can also use a program like Fraps to record video while you fly.

After you convert the AH film to video you can open it in movie maker to edit it.

Did you use the "browse" button to locate the program you wanted to set the film viewer for? Mine is at the default location, so browse there if yours is default too.

AH films are saved to the Films folder in your AH folder.
