I just saw a report of a small plane that landed on a Los Angeles freeway. After the landing it caught on fire and was destroyed. The picture looks like a FW190. The pilot is OK, but we may have lost another classic airplane.

im hoping it was one of them 1/2 scale ones... hope

Not a real 190, not a scale 190. Something else, that's just painted to look like one.

It's a Texan.
-
It was an AT-6. Still quite sad.

Here we go again... Am I the only one who sees the signs?
 :police:
Unfortunate for all of those involved. Glad no one was hurt.

The first picture I saw only showed the radial engine and the wings. Everything else had burned up. Still sad, but not as bad as I first thought.

Thought that was an Army of Muppets squad art with the heart there for a second. :lol

Awesome :)
As long as the pilot is fine

It appears It took a bit of time before the Axis planes got registrated as killed last frame of the scenario! :devil

Damn shame about the loss of the bird. According to the article I read it seems it was a total loss since they cut it up into pieces after the fire to truck it out. Kudos to the pilot for putting it down with no injuries or loss to anyone else.
