Title: 2 Billion Dollars Megamillions Jackpot
Post by: AKKuya on October 24, 2018, 03:51:29 AM
It's becoming a monster.  Lump sun would be around 1 billion dollars minus taxes.  29 annual payments around 65 millions dollars a year minus taxes.

woops, the website wasn't updated at the time I looked. It said pending and TBA.  I took that as no winner.  It has a sole winner for 1.6 billion dollars.

Up in the great white north, we've limited the max to be 60 million CA, and then anything over that turns into "Max millions". This way there can be a lot of 1 million dollar winners.

1.6billion is just too much... There could be so many smaller winners.  once it reaches 1 billion, it should roll over into 1 million packages. (or 1.6mil for US so that after taxes it's about 1mil).

I dunno perhaps I'm just sour grapes...   Stupid free play winner, shoulda been 1mil or the 60mil...  :furious

Did you buy your ticket in Simpsonville, South Carolina, at KC Mart convenience store?

Yeah, actually I did buy mine there.........too bad my ticket had the wrong numbers.

The local grapevine is saying the winner went into work and thought to check the winning numbers via his phone. Folks close to him claim he looked up from the phone, said "Yes" and walked out the door.......cant say I blame him, if the story is true.

I did!  But I threw my ticket out by mistake.  Does it matter?
