Time for a holiday drone treat in this household.
Drones are one of the many things about which I know nothing.
So:
Quality?
Longevity?
Endurance?
Homing function?
Locator function?
AI Learning?
Camera?
Collision avoidance? (I live in a forest.)
The stuff I'm too ignorant to ask?
Thanks.
Regards,
Airman T. E. Shaw RAF
also: Any friendly wishing to clash in the WW 1 arena (peripheral fields), US eastern time, afternoon or evening, PM me.

TEShaw, send GMAN a PM. He has a lot of experience with drones.

No matter what you decide to do... you will need a budget. Just to see what can be had in that arena.
You will need to know what you plan to do with it. To see what kind of licensing you may need.

What's the best to fly around indoors for the lulz? Extra points if it can drag a magnet on a string to pick up stuff. Oh yeah, should be able to survive being shot with a nerf gun a few times.

Like I said, I don't know much about drones.
The DJI Mavic 2 pro with DJI goggles has most of the features that appeal...but, c'mon! Make that a stereo camera!
Yeah, if that system had a stereo camera, and one of you virtual fliers recommended it, I could be there.
So now you know what I'm looking for.
Not really finding anything like that on line.
Thanks.

I am cautious about the goggles as you are required to keep a visual on the drone.... at least in the US.

Oh no. Just saw the DJI Matrice 100
...programmable with optic payload options.

Be sure to watch all the drone fly away and drone crash videos on youtube. :aok

Are they mostly feedback loops, like stepping on the accelerator instead of the brake, causing you to step on it harder?

It has to be in line of sight, not maintaining visual on the drone.
goggles make it fun like a video game especially with ones that can go upside down like the bepops

Its all fun and games until the drones all go rogue, terminator style
