Title: some Christmas "gift"
Post by: molybdenum on December 25, 2018, 06:37:13 AM
All-seeing dar is back on--you know, the kind that lets bad guys track buffs from takeoff and pounce on them while they are still on climbout? Every comment on both country and 200 is against it, mostly of them vehemently so. Even the noobs for whom this dar is probably meant to make the game seem more active don't like it. Well, the one who was on, anyway, he upped a buff, apparently had no idea he could be tracked and was swarmed by 4 fighters before he got halfway to target. He was trying it again and getting killed again when I logged off in dismay.

Not a good way to either encourage new subscribers or keep old ones imo.

Hmmmm...   I thought the icon-range-dar was working pretty well.  Maybe someone just had a little too much Christmas "cheer" and changed a setting by mistake.   :devil

Maybe those wanting to play airport are not right for this game.

Scary thought to have a fight in a WWII game.

All-seeing dar is back on--

Hitech turned it on last night as part of the Santa flight.  It will probably go back to normal at the next reset, or when he realizes he forgot to turn it off.
