I have a suggestion for War Online. You have the computed gunsight turned on. Make the crosshairs red when out of range, yellow when long range, and green when target within suggested shooting range. This will help rookies know when to shoot, and not waste bullets shooting when out of range.

Good idea.

Noobs might wonder why they can't hit something and not know their guns are not set for a distance they start shooting. There are a lot of variables.
I have not tried the game as it is definitely not my kind of game. I am shocked there are lead sights. They have really lowered it to the weakest link. Just wow.

But that's the idea. For years people have been trying to convince Hitech to turn Aces High into an arcade game. He made a separate arcade game for them and kept Aces High as a flight simulator for us big kids.

I expect people will be shooting just because the cross is green, it might be better to have it turn green when the gun sight is on the cross and the range is close to the convergence.

Things like this could be all options that create a war cash modifier. Gives some help, but reduces how much you earn on a kill.

My guess is that you either didnt read or understand the original post. This is a suggestion for the War Online: Pacific game where the lead computing site IS enabled in all arenas all the time.

I need to put the purple dinosaur in the wish list. :D

Try this out offline now, one of the best gunnery training updates Hitech has added in awhile. I noticed the wirble, osti and M16, it's set for yellow at 1000 and green at about 400-200. In general it changes from red to yellow at about 1000 while green in response to your convergence. Good training aid.
I was testing some wirlbe sights when the LCD cross started out red, changed to yellow then green. Glad I remembered this post, I was about to Bug report it...... :rofl

Ranges are the same for all bullets. The colors are simply a guideline for new users.

Passing through 400 turning the cross from yellow to green is an excellent training aid. You might want to add one of those information windows while the game is loading up that lets players know something about this update to the offline LC gunsight. Yellow is a good indicator for wirble training for max effective range of the 20mm round. It was confusing with the 37mm and 88 while I was long distance shooting. :lol I first noticed all of this on the wirble mesa on my offline gunnery terrain testing a new wirble sight.

You can turn this feature on offline in AH3??? How?

It is not part of AHIII.
-
It's only available offline and in the TA in AH3. Hitech updated the LC gunsight so outside of 1000 the cross is red, inside of 1000 it's yellow and inside of 400 it's green.
You can enable the lead computing gunsight in the arena setup environment tab then hit the tab key to highlight the drone with the LCG.

I can’t find anything in the options/arena setup/environment/arena settings, that would obviously enable this.

I checked it out. It's pretty cool. Thanks, Hitech.
