Not quite sure what code in Aces High that causes this strange phenomena, but it needs to go away. It looks really odd...
I was showing Aces High to a friend and I was on the six of a P-38 - it was kind of a 'hold my beer' event to demonstrate how awesome this game is...except the Lightning started flip-flopping in front of me (stalled?) just as I was about to line up for a shot, my buddy (who is also a pilot) started to howl with laughter. It just looks weird and not a normal physics response for any aircraft. It's like they go from normal flying to full bore "I've lost my tail" falling spin, except that they're slow and spinning in the air in front of you.
Please, we need the beached trout syndrome to disappear...

+1 never happened in AH2. Lag yes , warping yes, cartwheeling stalls at crucial moments then instant recovery no!
I believe krup or junky showed several videos of it occurring.
Not sure why it ever started in AH3.

+1 Seems to be a flaw in the flight modeling. Nothing close to reality.

I have seen the same. Definite WTH moment.

A new feature for AH3 and it looks freaking ridiculous.

I suspect it's not to do with flight modelling, but the way the predictive network model works.

is it all 3 38's L-J-G?

all fighter aircraft suffer this effect...

Film might help. AH film has info the video doesn't have. If someone already sent film in and it still happens it's likely internet related in which case any cure could be worse than the current problem.
I'm assuming nobody can do it themselves, they can only see it happening occasionally to an online player.

It's been around as long as I've been playing.

Some people can do it on command. People have reported this many times and provided film only to be told that it is normal flying. Here is a 50 odd page waste of time about the same issue. https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,381703.msg5082557.html#msg5082557 (https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,381703.msg5082557.html#msg5082557)

Looks like a full rudder, hard elevator.

Two different discussions I think. Some people are talking about planes appearing to flip 180 when they aren't vs planes actually swapping ends.
