Title: My sim stand
Post by: Scca on January 26, 2019, 09:56:06 AM
So after having my Rogerdoger pvc stick stand start to fail, I decided to cad me up something a little better

Here is the finished product.  I used some reclaimed wood for the platforms, 1/2 16 ga. box tubing, and a mig welder.  I think it came out nice... (pardon the mess, it's the basement..)

Looks good! I mounted my stuff to a swing away unit I built so When Im not flying I can easily use my desk as a desk. It only takes a few seconds to swing it up into place and Im ready to fly!

You can't sell the idea to IKEA, there's too few parts!

Other than that it's a nice piece of functional furniture.  :aok

Thanks!

I built it to be wide enough for the chair, so I don’t need the swing away.

Its wrong there is no cup holder :old:

Everyone knows colonials require at least 12 cup holders on everything they sit at :old:
