I've been suspecting there's a bug with ELO and now I'm pretty sure. Apart from giving TheStig a number of proxies last week when the AI_gangtard variable was a bit higher, I've not died to a human player in a while. This week I've duelled a friend 7 times and won every match. According to the ELO implimentation provided by HiTech my ELO has continued to go down. Especially today I made a note before and after a three match set. Despite winning each match, my rating went down.
I'm sure that's not correct according to said, referenced calculator:

Where were you fighting and what queue?

At FFA and also 1-on-1 queue. I've been trying to record a before and after but it doesn't update until you relog. Today I had a scientific opportunity with a fight at FFA against a human player but Windows update interupted just after I shot him down and I'd augered by the time I got back :rofl
I'll try again tomorrow. My ELO is now substantially lower than newcomers :eek:

I have a finding. Logged into MPA, ELO 1085. Flopped around a bit, half a dozen kills on AI, no kills from them. Logged off, logged on, ELO still 1085. So-far-so-good. Logged back in again, fighting the AI until Winchester, noticed RAG's Spit14 taking some long shots on me and encouraged him to swim with the fishes. Kill to me, RAG's ELO 1236.
According to the calculator my ELO should have gone up 23 points. Logged off and back on ELO 1085. So for me at least it appears I'm only geting points subtracted on deaths but not added on kills versus human players both in the 1-on-1 queue and the FFA area versus human players. ELO dropped from 1386 to 1085 in about 2 weeks and now lower than the starting point of 1200?

Believe I found the bug, I also implemented arena setting which let me turn drone maneuver kills on and off, and also turn ELO on for killing drones.
Also you will get a message how your ELO changes for a kill or death.
Right now ELO is on for drone killing so you can test.

I will test it and publish the results but I'm now in councelling because of my tragically low ELO rating caused by said bug :old: How about popping a single 30-mm in the right wing of my Ki-84 and we'll call it quits. :banana:
