Title: open bomb doors, and lose bombs

ok, something is wanky and I can't figure it out. when I go into the bombsite view with my doors open, I lose my bombs. also, if I'm in my bombsite, then open my bay doors, I lose my bombs. wtf am I missing?

are you toggling the drop accidentally before you open your doors?

It has to do with the mapping I think, I got something similar. Whenever you switch a position your guns will fire automatically. Same should be true for dropping bombs. When you hit the fire key again this stops. Anyway it's a problem.

You have to re map your joystick for Fighter, bomber, vehicle and sea and ground gunner individually. With one of the updates this got all jumbled up.

What novice said. I don't fly bombers much and naturally found this bug.. err.. feature.. during a frame of FSO. Think it was turning off mode auto detect that fixed it. I have everything I need including modes mapped to my stick and throttle.

It messed up all kinds of stuff. Couldn't look thru the bomb sight as my view was stuck on straight up. Guns all fired. Bombs all dropped. That was a fine how do ya do lining up on the target! Damn those electronic arming switches!

Most likely in Bombardier mode 4 you have a toggle switch mapped to Release Secondary.

had some random axis's for my pedals assigned to fire weapons in bomber mode. got them cleaned up and i'm good to go now. Thanks fellas! <S>
