Curious to know what kind of input lag that will have.  I can't imagine Doom being anything other than a horrid experience.

It will be interesting to watch when everyone has 5G or giga-fiber.

Some of the early testing is encouraging.  Almost as good as high-end gaming PC, no worse than console.

Hmp.  By that, it should be good enough for most people that aren't wannabe pro gamers on Adderall.  Now the question becomes what will it be like for the majority of users vs controlled demo systems.  I'll definitely be checking it out though as I do not fit into the above category.  :old: :joystick:

Many a slip between cup and lip, but bears close watching.

Probably not for AH though.  Just joking about that.

Something like "War Online: Armour Apocalypse" would probably be better.  New game, new population, broader non-flightsim appeal.  Possibly a younger audience not so encrusted into old ways.  ;)  Also, tanks are a lot less latency sensitive.  Also, they would be more compatible with other control mechanisms like game controllers and keyboard and mouse.
