1) What object in the shpfilter file is a re-arm pad?
2) How do I make my own re-arm pads, if possible?
Thanks for your time

Ok I tried using a straight taxiway as a rearm pad. Didn't work plus I got the bumpy runway bug. I tried both collision on and off, but it made no difference. This was on a medium field, SE end just before the stock rearm pad. I layed a piece of taxiway down to bridge the gap between the normal taxiway and runway. Then laid down a piece of taxiway to close the gap and set it as a rearm pad. Didn't work either. I have the field properties set correctly, and the object properties set correctly. I reverted both sections to runways and I still got the bumpy runway bug.
Should I wait until after the next TE version is released?

Make sure the field is all the same elevation or you get bumpy runways. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Already checked that, and I didn't change any elevation anywhere near the field. It only happens under the new taxiway I laid, and I still haven't been able to fix it. Also no luck on the re-arm pads either.

I think you need to make sure that you put your airfield on grass tile.
But I seem to recall one or more of the airfield groups gave me problem even when putting them on grass tile, it could be a bug or maybe they built them on rock terrain and it got copied when they save it in there Group name.
As for the reload, it must be built into the group file because it you select LAIRFIELD from shapes the only thing on it is the runways and the reload spots. I put it near another airfield and drove my plane to it and when on the reload splot and it rearmed me. If you check it using Edit Object it shows nothing there.

The field is on grass texture. I played around with it some more yesterday and rearm pads still don't work. Laying down more taxiways to bridge gaps between the runway and outer taxiways also doesn't work. The taxiway always gets the bumpy runway bug; even when the taxiway pieces are set to runway.
So much for re-building the airfields.
