Here's a little trick to help you require the TILT angle of your ramp without getting into major trigonometry.
Here is an easy way to help figure out the TILT NUMBER required to place your ramp.
This example is based on:
1) The main section of the Bridge begin 190ft off of the ground.
2) Using a STRTAXI as the ramp.
3) The STRTAXI is (appears to be) 300ft long.
4) Using the hypotenuse formula of C^2 = A^2 + B^2 except going to set it up as C^2 = X^2 + Z^2
5) X=190ft, C=300ft and Z=?
Using the hypotenuse formula we need to find Z.
1) C^2 = X^2 + Z^2
2) 300^2 = 190^2 + Z^2
3) 90000 = 36100 + Z^2
4) Z^2 = 90000 - 36100
5) Z^2 = 53900
6) SquareRoot each side so now Z = 232.163735
(http://accesswave.ca/~tscott/AH-stuff/Angle1.JPG)
So while in the Editor, place an Object at coordinates 0, 0, 0 (this example I placed a 20mm Gun)
Then place a TNKSGT at coordinates -190, 0, 232.163735
Now exit the Editor and open the .oba file and TILT (7th #) the TNKSGT Object so it lays flat by entering 1.5708, exit and save.
Run the Editor again and SELECT the 20mm Gun and select ROTATE
Move you position over the TNKSGT with TOPVIEW and zoom down close to it.
CLICK / HOLD left mouse button and drag it so the RED direction line crosses thru the exact center of the THKSGT crosshairs and then release the mouse button.

Now you can select FILE then SAVE and you can open the .oba file without exiting the Editor or you can exit the Editor while saving and then open the .oba file.
Look for the Data line for your 20mm Gun and get the numbers from the 8th position.
Those are the numbers that you'll use to TILT the STRTAXI with, Positive or Negitive part depends on which way you are Tilting it.
Now Place a RUNWAY 190ft off the ground
Place the STRTAXI with its TILT number and raise it 95ft off off the ground (190 / 2)
Remember when basing on how far away from the Runway you need to place the STRTAXI don't use 300ft, you'll need to use the 232.163735ft because it is no longer laying flat on the ground.

You may need to fine tune the distance the objects are away from each other but you should be ok with the Angle.

Here is a spread sheet that should give the data you would need for a 2 tile bridge.....
2tbridge.xls (http://www.i-way.co.uk/~benier1/2tbridge.xls)
BTW how long is the runway object??
Tilt (the player ...not the angle)

BTW you have to right click and save target

Thanks Tilt
I don't have Excel, and have never used it, but I did find a ExcelViewer for those who are interested.

Well I tried placing runways end to end ( centered in their own grid square) and seems close enough to say that they touch, so I guess they are 5280ft long.
P.S Be careful of your ramp angle. Seems like anything more than .1689 will start to limit what vehicles can move on that slope angle.
Don't be fooled either when testing. Stop the vehicle on the slope, then see if you can start moving again, also try all the vehicles.
I think the M8 is the worst if I remember (can't remember lol), if it can make it, all other will also.

Thats a slope of over 9 degrees...... I typically work on a 100 foot high bridge which brings a slope of only just over 1 degree. Infact my major concern on the two tile bridge was crossing the apex. I note that if there is the smallest gap between the objects then the vehicle does a sort of wierd slow motion sumersault.
For the time being I am just thankfull to have a working bridge which is simple in construction. Albiet that they are (presently) all north south in orientation.
Has anyone tried putting a road or railway over one yet?

PS what spread sheet format do you prefer?
