There isn't one, but I'm trying to get a hold of the newest version of Arcadia (still in beta as of this AM) which should handle our needs. It allows for categories, user uploads, sort by author, all that jazz w/o needing database stuff. Right now it's lacking the group controls - if the new release comes out this weekend, I can have the system open by Monday.

As long as we don't go nuts and have thousands of textures, I can hold it on my vserver.

I installed the newest beta of Arcadia ... still a little buggy (I've reported the bugs to the developer). But it has the functionality we need.

I've created 8 categories which should hold everything. Those who feel adventurous can try adding a couple of textures and see how it works. Don't commit to adding a lot just yet because I suspect I'll have to patch this in a few days. And I'll be messing with the settings this weekend anyway.

But this should provide a central resource for all the textures people create.

I was also thinking Terrain Files so I could Fly in them

Those are pretty big ... I don't have enough server space for that, I'm afraid. .

Yeah - for just a place to dump files that'd be fine. Just beware that such services will likely either (a) go under or (b) start charging some time soon.
