This Hurricane Mk IIC was flown by Lt Stewart "Bomb" Finney of 1 Squadron of the South African Air Force during the battle of El Alamein in October 1942. It features the SAAF's orange-centred roundels, a springbok as nose art and the name "Oops" on the tail. Finney flew Hurricanes and Spifires in the desert campaign from 1941 to 1943. He was shot down, straffed and wounded by the LW ace Otto Shultz in 1942 but having survived this later rose to rank of Major and command of 2 Sqn SAAF in Italy.

Your fine detail has become incredible.

Your guess is as good as mine.

I currently have 10 skins uploaded to the skins submission page and I'd like HTC to let us know when or even if they are going to get processed.

Is this skin designed for an event? Are any of the others? IMO, they should receive priority. :huh

His El Alamein skins are being baked into the Egypt terrain so they'll be available on that map regardless of HTC skin release schedule.
The same goes for a few 109's and P-40's that I made for the same event.

Baked into the terrain, huh. Is this something new? Didn't skins have to be approved by HTC for use online, originally (then they would be available for download by the community)?

No, the ability to replace the default skins in terrains has been around since AH2. It was usually only done in the cases of skins for substitute aircraft, but I've made it my mission to try to get as many location specific skins into their respective terrains. Thankfully, Greebo and Ghostdancer(from the official terrain team) have been willing to help in this endeavour.
