Hey, a two-seat Corsair! Who knew?
WWII fighters are cool, but with that kind of coin there are modern turboprop designs that are more cost effective and with similar performance.
Nice find though. :aok

You know that doesn't seem like that much money these days. I mean it is a lot of money but a Pilatus PC-9 allegedly goes for 6 million so.......
I wonder how much an hour it ends up costing, also it isn't like you can shoot anything so maybe the 2012 Extra 330LX 147 total time for 350K would be more bang for the buck this one looks pretty sexy:https://www.diamondaircraft.com/en/special-mission/aircraft/dart/overview/ (https://www.diamondaircraft.com/en/special-mission/aircraft/dart/overview/) but costs north of 3 million, doesn't go 400mph and doesn't sound like the coolest thing next to a merlin of course it probably costs a fair bit less to operate, doesn't need fancy gas and has ejection seats.

It's almost like you can see my Discord posts! Hmmm . . .
I better post this one before you find it, too! If this gets certified it will have a much lower initial cost and reduced maintenance overall (in theory).

And the manufacturer Diamond, sold a 60% interest to Wanfeng Aviation in 2017. So you buy one, you are buying anything the Chinese Gov wanted added to the onboard computer systems to help China.

Don't do it boys!
I remember my granddad's wisdom,
"If it flies, floats or f***'s, rent it"

For a bit less (at least the rumored price I heard), there's https://grob-aircraft.com/en/g-120tp.html (https://grob-aircraft.com/en/g-120tp.html).

Actually, there's a company in Canada, I believe, converting C-47's to turboprops. Basler BT-67 is the name I think. If I bought anything with an engine it would be that.

Here is why GROB would be a good investment versus Diamond. In 2017 GROB trainers are being used by the US ARMY for training while Diamond had to sell 60% to China to stay afloat.

The range is too limited. In order to buy any aircraft you have to have a financial need, or practical use for an aircraft that offsets the price of their purchase. And, just in case China or someone else knocks out the GPS system I would want an analog backup. I would love to cross the Pacific via the Southern route, but I think you need to have an excellent navigational system and 2,500-3,000 mile range just to think about it. This is why I stick to sailplanes and simulators.
