A few nights ago I flew a goon in for a base capture. A few seconds after dropping my last troop my tail got shot off by an 88. I was able to stay airborne long enough to watch all but two troops enter the map room. Seconds after I was in the tower it gave me the base capture message, but I was never awarded a bomber or attack capture. Is this a new feature to keep people from bailing after a troop drop or a score keeping glitch?

Believe it is because you didnt "Land successfully". Sort of like killing a plane but die before he does...gives proxy to closest ally. Only this case noone gets capture proxy. Had you been still alive you would have gotten credit. Bailing after dropping troops has always been like this also. Country gets capture, but bailer/troop guy gets no credit

Got it. Thanks.

This is correct. If you are not on the same sortie, you do not get credit in your score. The base itself is still captured in the world, but no one gets credit for it. Had you launched another sortie prior to the last troop going in, you would have cancelled all the troops and the base would not have been captured.

How many troops fit in Joachim’s monster truck? His play ones carry maybe one or two, but I’m curious what the big boy fits. Does it have a gun for late night milking runs?
