190F8 is a bit of a pig compared to the A8 and P47-D25. Why not just have more A8s?

The A8 in this case is representative of the A7, and they were pretty limited in numbers in this area. The F8 was pretty prominent in the area so we wanted to feature it. We were initially going to try A-20G's on the Allies, but found some P-47D-22RE's in the area that would better balance as a jabo. The F8 is indeed a pig, but does carry slightly more ord for bomb-trucking at least.

I, too, prefer the G-2. Sadly, they were phased out of this theater at this time.
