Title: StG 77 Stuka

This is a skin of a Ju-87B Stuka but this is considered an acceptable substitution on AH's Ju-87D.

This Stuka served with the first squadron of Sturzkampfgeschwader 77 during 1940. During the early phase of the Battle of Britain StG 77 was used to attack British convoys in the English channel. Later, during August, it was sent on a few mass raids against RAF installations. The last of these was on the 18th, the group sent up 108 Stukas but despite an escort of 127 Me 109s the RAF's fighters still managed to shoot down 15 with another 2 aircraft written off. Following this the Luftwaffe was forced to withdraw the Stuka from operations over Britain.
