Hi all,
I'm making a tactical navigational map (kneeboard-style, for the AH clipboard and for printing) of the current islands terrain. It'll be based on the style of actual aeronautical charts.
Question is... can I get a BMP elevation map of it, or is there a way to extract something similar from the terrain editor? I'm prepared to trace it out in a drawing program, but if I can save a step or two I will :) .
I will be more than happy to share the finished map (i'm thinking PDF) if someone will post it on their site.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone? Just a yes or no?

I'm guessing that you need to get the files from whoever made the terrain.
As far as I know you can't open a .res file.
If there is a program that can open a .res file I would love to know.
