That's what I've loved the most about AH.
It's one of the few games that really puts real aircombat into perspective.

Yeap, AH had good enough physics even 10 years ago.
I miss those good fights ever since.

Let's add 10 more years to that and make it 20 years ago, next month ie... Back in October 1999 :aok
btw, the fights are still here

Yes they are.

Fights have been pretty decent on these smaller maps. Great when there is 3-4 fights scattered around the map with close back bases. #s have picked up a bit going into fall. :rock

And in KOTH A, second Saturday of the month in SEA II. The Aces High event that has the highest ratio of dogfights per hour of any Aces High Special Event.

Logged on Friday night to 107 in MA. Bish and Rooks dominated pizza map. Bish pushed Rooks to their city, tried to close out knits, but stalled 1 base short before i logged after a 7hr run. A thousand fights were had over that time in-game. The heart of the game still beats strong. Hate to admit it but the win the war game is about as balanced as you can get it. When the bish horde can be held short like that something is going right mechanics wise.

A game too hard, an enemy too strong, a bridge too far.
