Title: How can I get bmp terrain map from res file?
Post by: buhdman on July 17, 2001, 01:33:00 PM
HI,

I would like to be able to get my hands on the various bmp clipboard display maps of the various terrains.  It it possible to extract them from the resource file?  If so, how?  If not, is there any other way to get them?

Thanks!

The only way I know is to get them from the person who made the terrain.

Or you could pull up the clipboard when in the game, hit zoom ( default is the Z key I believe ) center  the clipboard in your windows screen and take a snap shot ( Alt + S ).

This will place a picture in the aceshigh folder called ahss(number).
ahss0 would be your first snapshot.
ahss1 would be your second.

You can open this snap shot with windows paint.
