Can you participate without a squad? If so, what needs to be done?
Thx

There are many squads in FSO looking for pilots...someone will be along shortly to help you out... :salute

Does it matter to you what plane you would like to fly?
This month the plane set is as follows:
Allied: F4U1A, F6F, Seafire, and TBM
Axis: 109G-6, 109G-14, 190A-5, and 110G
Note that the TBM and 110G are completely optional and may not be part of a side's battle plan. The 109G-14 and 190A-5 are severely limited in their allowed numbers, so you may find it difficult to get a seat in one.

.....and joining a squad in FSO has no bearing on the other arenas. So you can be bish and with a squad in the MA, and be axis or allie in FSO and end up on the Rook side as it may be where the allies or axis are flying this month for FSO.

The 412th FNVG is always looking for pilots. Feel free to get in touch with Nefari. We are Allied this month.

You have to be in a squad to participate in FSO,
If you only like to fly 109's and 190's join one of the axis only squads, if you like flying a variety of planes join one of the squads that flies what ever where ever.
There are many good squads in FSO and VF-17 will extend an invitation to you to fly with a squad that flies what ever where ever. This month we are in the blue planes. If you are interested PM me and I'll hook you up.

Also let me give a shout out for scenarios.
They operate similar to FSO but are generally longer frames and more intense. Special events is the part of AH that gives back the most to players.

Yes scenarios are great fun, and you don't have to be in a squad to participate. In fact there is a one day scenario coming up December 7.
Read about it here: https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,398083.0.html
Sign up for the side you want to fly for and they will put you in a squad. It's a great way to meet new people and to fly different planes.
If you have any difficulty signing up you can PM me for help or ask here and someone will help you out.

The dread pirates would enjoy another body to crash with!

Well heck, don't forget KOTH, once or twice a month, the event that has the highest dogfighting /hour ratio of any special event we run.
You'll fly and get used to almost the whole fighter, fighter/attack plane set.
It's you against everyone else.
Also let me give a shout out for scenarios.
