While flying in the Pacific arena I noticed no response when the rudder pedals were fully deflected in either direction. So, a check of the controls settings showed the rudders were “Not Assigned”. But, when I cycled the pedals the numbers in parenthesis under the Rudder line cycled normally. When I tried to change the assignment, the software was unresponsive. I tried calibrating the rudders with no change.
I then went into the Main Arena and checked the control settings. The Rudder was a assigned and worked normally when I went into the game.
Any idea what’s going on? Thanks in advance. :salute

Controller mode setting?

Controller mode setting?
Yeah, I checked that and it was in airplane mode, same as in the main. The last time I was in the Pacific arena, this didn’t occur.

There's a "Pacific arena"? Maybe WO:P, different game with different settings?

That’s what I’m referring to.

You should be able to assign rudder pedals in War Online:Pacific. I don't know why the game wouldn't respond but it sounds like the Win10 issues I get with background updates.
I would try again, see if they are still unassigned, and if they are, try to assign them again.

Yeah, I tried multiple times and could not get the rudder to assign, even after a failed attempt to recalibrate the rudder axis. Very perplexing after going into the main and it worked perfectly. I’ll try again today and let you guys know the results.

If it's still not working you can rename the 'settings' folder in WO:P and start fresh.

This afternoon, I checked again. Still no rudder assigned. On my original post, I didn’t mention this was happening in VR. So, I scrolled down on the control settings in my rudder peddles, and there it was. The left hand controller had the rudder assigned to one of its buttons. I’ve got no idea how that happened. After, deleting the hand controller assignment, the rudder peddles accepted the rudder assignment and worked fine.
Thanks for the ideas, gents! :salute

Glad you got fixed it. WO:P is a fun game for a little instant action ACM.
