Title: Blue Angel 7 has been at Louisville International for a week
Post by: davidpt40 on December 23, 2019, 05:15:05 PM
For some reason Blue Angel #7 has been at Louisville International (Standiford Field) for over a week.  Anyone know why?

It appears it was just in Kingsville TX preparing logistics for next year's show.  This particular aircraft is a two-seater.  Neither of the pilots are from here.  If anything, the plane must be down for maintenance.  There are no shows in this area for 2020.  It's simply parked at a C-130 air national guard unit.

Starliner didn't help Boeing's reputation, I wonder if the CEO was already on his way out or if that was the last straw.

He really blew it with the PR side of things.  I think this is a "reset" signal to everyone.   I'm sure he walked away with a small fortune for his trouble.

Turns out the plane has hydraulic problems.
