Explains why he retired.  Sad.  So much talent and ability.  What might have been is one thing.  That he rose to the heights he did is another.

But what matters in the end, RIP.

One of the best drummers of all time. A shame to hear. Loved watching him use every single drum on that 360 drum set he had. Sad news for the music world.  :salute  :rock

7 yr old playing YYZ.  It's not a new video but it seems like a nice tribute at this time.

Rush is one of my favorite bands, with Peart being one of my favorite (perhaps the favorite) drummer.

<S> to Neil Peart.

I'm OCD-ing on Neil Peart and Rush stuff now as are many others as sales of their albums has skyrocketed.
Mr. Peart was modest and said he just got paid to hit things with sticks but just calling him the drummer for rush is an understatement akin too....

Chuck Yeager was just some guy in the Air Force.     {Apologies to Mr. Yeager}
I came across this and found it interesting...

Just finished Ghost Rider and whilst looking around I found that RUSH appeared on Stephen Colbert. That itself reminds me of Dr. John at KickAssGear computers, but off on a tangent.
