I cannot get the gunrange sight increase or decrease to work when I am the turret view of a gv.
Key V and C do nothing. I tried re mapping those keys and they do not work.
I also tried mapping two keys to my joystick and still no success.
I recently built a new computer and installed Win 10 Pro.
I use a Razor keyboard and mouse. I installed their latest software.
any suggestions are appreciated.

A likely cause is the sight range is mapped to an analog control.

thank you
saitek x-52 pro
i will work on that

I have adjusted every setting in AH to make the keys C and V function again.
Gun-sight Range Increase or Decrease is not working when in turret view and it currently set at maximum. This makes
the tank useless.
I have tried mapping the keys to my keyboard and I have also tried mapping the keys to my joystick.
Nothing works. I have tried various gun-sights as well.
In windows the j/s appears to function properly. So does the mouse and keyboard.
Any other ideas are appreciated.

You checked all the analog axis and rotaries on the stick and throttle?
If sight range isn't mapped to anything try renaming the settings file and see if the keys work.
-
I tried that i believe I have checked everything
next I will try importing my settings from my old computer
thanks

Before you import new settings rename the settings file and try the keys. See if they work without your current settings before you try the older ones.

Fixed
Map Controllers
Uncheck Auto select mode
-
Makes note: check mapping in each mode. :aok
-
When you are in a GV (Mode 2) you can check Copy Mode 1. All of your settings stored in Mode 1 now work in
Mode 2.

If you copy mode 1 to modes 3 and 4, you can make any changes you want to compare to modes 3 or 4. For example if you aren't scaled in mode 1, you can scale in mode 3, then easily switch back and forth to compare performance, by mapping buttons to switch modes.

I will try that. I mostly GV, but I do fly occasionally if there is no GV action. I use the same stick
settings I used in WarBirds and Dawn of Aces (the settings were more conservative for the WWII planes).
I used to lighten the deadband for WWI planes so the plane is steady when firing, especially when you are right on their six. :D

In Aces High deadband and damping are global, you can only set scaling differently.
