Is that Confirmed Kill?

Aces High beta looked a lot better than that. Confirmed Kill was made before Warbirds, Aces High was developed after.

And that's when I killed the guy then known as Mad Max over and over again. :neener:

I am not 100% sure, I heard Domark left somewhere in the dev cycle leaving you guys at ICI games on your own and taking the IP name with them. It certainly "is" Confirmed Kill in a way but could also be considered "Warbirds" as well.
Domark went on to use the name "Confirmed Kill" in a WW2 pacific air combat sim later on in 99 that never really went anywhere.
Also found this which has some historical significance:

Looks like a pre-mature version of the ICIgames logo.

I know I was. I think it’s awesome to see how far these games have come since then.

Fancy seeing an Air Warrior screenshot on my "yearly-ish" browse of this board, and in a recent thread no less. First played it in 1994 myself, although not heavily until about 1996. I don't see shots from that game too often anymore. I still miss it. I load the DOS version up on a DOS-emulator on my PC once in awhile and take a flight around the empty arena for nostalgia's sake. Since its closure by Electronic Arts I have not spent a dime on a product associated with EA and I intend never to do so.
I never tried Confirmed Kill until it morphed into Warbirds and I never played WB very much largely because it stuck with obsolete hourly pricing for far too long. I recall trying out Aces High beta in '99 and figured even at the time it'd more or less replace Warbirds. I didn't foresee Aces High turning into a sort of community lifeboat after Air Warrior and (later) Fighter Ace were closed. I haven't subscribed to this game in a very long time but I still appreciate and respect the community.
