Title: Looking for a 40"+ curved monitor that can do games well
Post by: Reschke on February 15, 2020, 09:40:47 AM
As I mentioned in a previous thread (https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,399165.0.html) I had a backup monitor that was giving me two monitors to work on and use for gaming as well. My primary monitor is a Dell 27" S2716DG that runs at 144Hz 2560 x 1440 resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. I have been looking at picking up the newer Samsung CRG9 (https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/49-crg9-dual-qhd-curved-qled-gaming-monitor-lc49rg90ssnxza/) but wanted some other options on monitors that would work well with AH as well.

System specs are as follows:
i7-8700K
32GB RAM
EVGA GeForce 2080RTX
Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7
lots of SSD's and a good old fashioned 1TB HDD
Windows 10 64bit

I have a 34" non-curved ultrawide, it is enjoyable in games especially flight sims, but I would not care for much wider than it is now. Do you want 16:9 or 21:9?
