My wife and I would appreciate your thoughts and/or prayers (whichever your preference may be) over the next several weeks. She will have to undergo a possibly life altering surgery in 2 weeks that has her distraught.
It might seem silly to come here with this, but I believe in having power in numbers!
<S> and thank you all!

Mr and Mrs Josh, keep the glass half full through this trying time. :aok

How about BOTH? :aok Strength in numbers IS sort of Biblical, so I will think about it and remind myself to pray for you guys :old:

I understand the situation entirely. I have had multiple life altering situations and made mention of them here on the board. There is hope and prayers available here. May the surgery be successful and the two of you have many more years together. Stay positive, it helps both you and your wife. Knee mail OTW. :pray

Thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers. My wife had a mass removed from her abdomen today that was believed to be attached to her ovary. Dr. was able to remove the mass (all TWELVE pounds of it), it was benign, and she was able to keep all of her organs.

Woot!
But tell your wife that this is not an approved way to lose weight. There are alternatives.
Glad to hear this, people here were worried.

Amazing. Hope her recovery is quick and trouble free.

:rock Heck YEAH! Much needed positive situations!

Great news! She will be real sore for some time. The docs say to use a pillow to hold against the incision area when moving and also for pain management. It sounds silly but it works. I know from real experience with abdominal surgery and removal of a large mass. Later on a compression strap will work and have less bulk.
