Imagine yourself the dashing pilot of a speedy Typhoon in air combat.

The fastest allied fighter in the battle down where it will count.

Glory and adventure is yours over the winter Ardennes forest.

Come fight the Luftwaffe during the Battle of the Bulge, the Luftwaffe's last great battle in the west.

It is the scenario "To Win the Winter Sky", running Saturdays in May.

well according to what i just read Typhoon's for ground attack.

 The British Hawker Typhoon was used against ground forces and carried hundreds of pounds of bombs and rockets.

so are you trying to circumvent history-plus the axis side in the scenario's this game/people in charge puts out are almost always out numbered, so sounds like you mean to make it harder for the axis players to win.

In scenarios, I'm always trying for this:  historical realism subject to playability.

Generally full realism and playability pull in opposite directions, and we have to find a balance between the two in order to get people to fly in it.

As a result, compared to what is historical, we almost always have far more fighters/bombers, far more air-to-air/ground-attack, far more axis/allies, more most-popular/less-popular fighters, better radar, better weather, sorter times to combat, more-even layout of airfields, more-even layout of targets, etc.

In the Ardennes battle, all of the allied fighters were doing mainly ground attack with some air-to-air combat (including Typhoons, which had some air-to-air fighting mixed in).  But we can only get about 5 pilots per side willing to do majority ground attack, and the rest of the fighter pilots want to be doing majority air combat.  So we have to pick one group that is dedicated ground attack with the rest not dedicated to that.  P-47's were the most-numerous ground attackers in the battle, and they are the dedicated ground attackers here.

By the way, the Typhoon is an awesome fighter.  I love them.
