PMJ is great. When Hailey Reinhart is in rotation.... wow. Her voice is amazing.
She tours quite a bit on her own.
Added her radio station to my Pandora. Listening to her version of 'Bennie and the Jets.' ;)

A couple of my favorites are Lzzy Hale from Halestorm, and Elize Ryd from Amaranthe. Amaranthe is more metal than rock, though.

Now before you criticize her interpretation, know that she is of the same society as the subject matter of the song. No auto tune and her vocal runs at the end is insane.
She also can play classical on a 7 string shred axe.

On of my favorite woman singers that hasn't been mentioned yet: Christina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. They have a lot of good songs.

These girls started in 1981 and never let go of the rock.
Interesting placement of the play button :devil

Everyone attributes Courtney Love with the "foot on the monitors" but Keiko Terada has been doing it since 1982 and it's likely the runaways did it as well as the all girl group "fanny" was doing it back in 1971.
