you guys asked for it so here it is. Luftwaffe vs RAF planes only.
Planeset listedn below.
this setup is reasonably well matched. we'll give this a try.
next month we'll try US vs Japan or whatever you guys might like.
join us for this fantastic fun, you want be disappointed.
Pilots are trying to fly in the fog, between buildings,
all the while checking your 6, gets very very intense. plane parts flying everywhere!!
its a very tense time and very much fun filled. if you're not that good, don't worry
we'll help you get better. its great for training, for situational awareness and how
to become a better pilot. it will help you whip some butt in the MA! you wont be sorry.
player of the week is Dash, for being the best pilot in Monday night madness last week!
come in and see if you can take that title from him! hes very good!
this weeks Planeset:

hurri 1 and 2

I will be there!

It's a most excellent plane set.
(*wraps shawl tighter around his shoulders*)
I remember, back in the day, when we had the rolling plane set in AvA. Lasted a month, someone figured out how to compress WWII ETO into 30 proportional days. One of my takeaways was the number of days the Spit V fought the 109F. Really impressed you with how long the Brits were on their own. It's a great match, as is the Spit I v. Emil.
(*points crooked finger*)
So get your (*cough*) butt in there, son.

I should be there.
Dang Red Dead Redemption II has gained my interest. LOL first game other than AH I have played in 20 plus years.

Should be fun. Hopefully no GVs this time as it threw off the aerial numbers last week.

Thats why I showed up

Where did all those bad guys come from lol. Had to leave before it was over but much fun.

Made it in there for about 20 minutes. Most excellent plane set, and a good-size crew of participants. Good fights, these 1940-41 planes are a hoot to fly.
Thanks again, Jaeger. You too, Easyscor.

Good times again
If you are going to experiment with settings may I suggest that you try having icons locked down to friendly icons only for a go?
Turning off blackouts gave the spits and canes an advantage they would not have normally had IMO
They are flying lazy susans to start with :aok
Didn't try the lead sight as it does not help if you are in close enough

Did someone say “no enemy icons”, ya know, like it was for quite a long time in the AvA? :x
Just do it, I say. :aok
-
That was an awesome MNM Event! I just uploaded my footage on the Film Forum & Facebook. :salute
-
Great fun as usual last night.
Might be fun to try WWI planes one night after you exhaust the other ideas. I want to land on the buildings. :devil

Yikes.
I've been one of the foremost proponents of no-enemy-icons. For years. But I see this MNM bringing in people who would never visit the AvA absent the promise of good dogfights. You guys have a good thing going here, just as presently structured. Don't screw it up.
- oldman (that was one of my father's expressions, I would never say anything like that.)
-
LOL!! that might be a tough sell, but not out of contention.

I have landed my 38 on top of the buildings a few times..... controlled crash is probably a better term.
-
Yea put a zeke down on one in pieces. But someone shot me as soon as I landed. :devil
Might be able to land a WWI bird and takeoff again.
-
I believe Jaeger got some pics of a couple of my landings..... through his tears of laughter.
-
eagler, we used to have no enemy icons, but no one would come in. so for Monday night madness, we do 1k. its a good compromise. personally I like it better with no enemy icons, but that's just me.
as for shuffler landing...... frontwards, backwards, sideways, upside down, take your pick!! LOL
