Can't imagine that. What happened to bring that question up?

SAMIAM posted his live stream and some like it, some dont, some think it is to easy a cheat.

that's what one of his squad members was telling him, that he could get banned for live streaming his fights on youtube, that it could be used as a cheat.
i was just wondering if it could be done.
not that i would do it, i don't even know how to make a AH video using AH videos that i save.

When you live stream in Aces High, anyone on the other two teams can access the live video and see what your team is doing in real time.  The streamer is not necessarily cheating unless he is doing it on purpose to show the other teams what his team is doing.

Live streaming sounds like fun and a good way to show off the game and/or your flying skills. But due to the possibilities of spying, it's a bad idea.  And you can't really blame the other teams for taking advantage if you are advertising where all your teammates are.

As to whether it's against the rules, Hitech will have to let us know.

Oh, lord, not the spying thing again.  Really, how serious a problem does anyone think this poses?

I used to stream it with reasonable success, but, covering the map and a delay were the key.

I stream now and then. I try to do it when something is actually happening and not a boring night of flying around. Lot of those until recently, consequently I haven't done it much. I generally won't stream at all during an event tho. Loose lips and all that! I mean... you're literally broadcasting "the plan" in real time after all. So that's not good for the team.

As far as MA game play? Yeah sure. If somebody wants to go to the trouble of ducking out of the game to find out where the fight is, whatever. IMO, they could save a lot of time and effort just looking at the dar bars and reading the buffer. Of course these days you'd have to be Evelyn Wood to actually read the buffer but I digress.

How bad do you have to be to use live streams to cheat? It’s a step below the losers using the film viewer to find gv’s or what ever.

No. Stream all you want and please do it often.

given number of shade accounts i don't see how this is a problem :) Those who want to spy will do so without live stream.

It is quite a problem! Shades are the primary reason. Without naming names I know of 3 instances where someone had a shade and he announced to “a few” an noe raid, that was decimated by the way. I was wondering how he/they were landing 12 to 15 kills a whack (no pt boat or LVT. Running lol) on a somewhat “quiet map” Once a guy in my old squad admitted he had a shade and he knew where the enemy was all the time. He was kicked out. That happened about five years ago. So yes, spying is a problem!

I watch plenty of streams on multiple platforms. Mixer, Dlive, twitch, YouTube, and periscope. I haven’t played AH since 2011 and it would be awesome to watch someone stream the game.

Keep in mind there is a delay so it isn’t real time live. Yes there are stream snipers out there but those are just haters and trolls.

Bring on the stream

So the raid ran into opposition.  This is a problem?
