We did it last year when I with the squad. It was because numbers were low on Rook side, Joker made the decision to switch sides. Pissed off some bish for sure.
Now rumors are floating around about a conversation on 200 between Dallas and Joker, then the switch, Not sure what that is all about.

Ok, not just a rumor...
Seems Joker and Dallas were chatting back and forth on 200. Things like, It’s fun to attack/pressure the knits from both sides. And hey, the knit strats aren’t down yet, with a reply like, oh okay we will do that. This went on for some time. Now this Information is secondhand from a trusted source who witnessed it firsthand. Blatant collusion on 200 to work a two sided front against the third team. Sad to see certain people either hate the other team (or people on it) so much they would resort to such tactics. Definitely not in the “spirit” of the game. And to chat this on 200. Funny how the absence of cross country Chat has forced such actions into the light of day. As to what now? Well first,where was the “mod” All this time?
I think this is deplorable behavior and should be dealt with! As to why the Jokers switched to Rooks.. my best guess is, as they were called out by some Knights on 200 (my source was one) and the HCIC had them switch to avoid exactly what I just mentioned, discipline. But that’s just a guess. Oh by the way, brownie points to anyone who figures out the acronym H.C.I.C. Means.

Dallas is a solid guy - he does change sides from time to time (perhaps tour -to-tour), so not sure of what to make of this.

It's as old as Ah itself: The Knit/Rook alliance, The Bishop/Knight collusion, The Bish/Rook pact Depends on your point of view.

if the bish and rooks collude openly so be it. They end up fighting each other too

Let’s see now, you really want to dance with words? if your head really spins over this, you are already unreachable with logic, but “I’ll bite” The game is designed in a three vs three format, not a two vs one. After all it is not allies vs Germany (axis). Just like having map borders there are elements to make gameplay reasonable and enjoyable. If that were not the case starting your plane would take quite some time and stick stirring would result in your death etc etc.
So, if you can wrap your “spinning head” around that concept, then perhaps you can grasp that “I think” inciting unfair odds (gameplay) on 200 and we are not talking a casual pithy comment have you, but more of a repeated goading, open, rub it in your face kind of thing does not benefit the game? Furthermore, “I think” it should be discouraged based on reasonable gameplay for all, not just two sides! This is a game that has serious dwindling playership from when I started and it definitely does not need this. By the way, I have never had a problem with Dallas either. When on rooks i found him to be quite upstanding and reasonable. The HCIC is another story I won’t go into. Back on topic...

You sure don't have to like it or even wrap your spinning head around it, but that doesn’t change how I feel about it. Nuff said Old man

Yeah. Such horrible collusion should never be broadcast out in the open for all to see. Keep it pm'd or squadie chat or third party comms. That'll make it all good.
(If you're going to suggest a reasonable way to stop 2v1 in a game not designed to prevent such then do so already - otherwise rumor mongering is pretty much a useless whine and waste of time.)
