Over the weekend one Canadian Snowbird CT-114 Tutor crahsed shortly after takeoff in British Colombia. May have had engine problems and both pilots did eject. The ejection may have been under minimum requirements and 1 pilot died and the other sustained serious injuries.

Watched a video this morning and not sure the chutes opened in time. They were pretty low and in a downward trajectory when they punched out.
