This is a Mig-3 substitute skin based on the C.205 which will be used in a new winter Eastern Front special events terrain being created by Spikes and Devil.
I don't usually create threads for substitute skins as some people will assume they can be used in the MA but Devil has asked me to post a screenshot of this one.

Doh! it would help if I attached the screenshot.....

Fantastic job. Thanks Greebop.
This skin is also baked into the FinlandW terrain and will be featured in this month's FSO.
Also, credit to Ghostdancer for adding all of our skins to the terrains and he is also a major part of the team working on the new Russia terrain.

That's COOL.

I think skin requests should go in their own thread so as not to derail the topic.
It also makes it easier for the skinner to find the info.
:salute

Don't think Swastika's are allowed even with nose art.

The problem with that aircraft is that I have only ever found one photo of it, which is a close up of the LH nose showing the nose art. A photo showing the rest of the markings; specifically the squadron codes and tail codes, would make me keener to want to do it. I hate relying on profiles and other secondary sources for this sort of info.

Very Cool. Interesting look on the 205. :aok
