Good gravy.  We've been begging for it since 2009.  That's when I created BOSS.  Beaufighter Operators Support Services:)  We were ready to go to town in Beaufighters!

Yep, hard to believe that it keeps getting pushed to the side.....

I met a colonel back around 2007 when I was still working down in Florida, that piloted a Beaufighter in WWII....

Wish I had took him up on all the photos and other stuff he offered to me, he went on to fly I think it was the B-37 then either the B-49 (or 47?)... Same type of Bomber that sits out by I-95 in GA at the Mighty 8th museum

Geez.........9 years ago I along with Dan were suggesting this and with lots of information.  It turned into a huge post.  Look back in the archives for the post.  Hundreds of replies.

I could build the model, after the sound package is complete, but I don't own the modeler HTC uses. I use 3DS Max, which allows for rigging, skinning, and so on, and also exports to what I believe HTC is using.

Dang, Hajo, you even posted in the thread where my opinion changed and I hopped onboard the Beau train.  :D

No, you're good. :) If anything, daydreaming about any addition, at all, is a welcome distraction, at times.

Set us free.  Give us our Beaufighter.

Beaufighters matter.    :salute

Ask not what AH can do for you.  Ask what a Beaufighter can do for AH.  :old:

Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!  Wait, I think I went to far.  :bhead

Still +1

Forget the fancy slogans. Just look at it.

That's 10 pounds of awesome in a 5 pound bag.

I've got more  :aok

The Pilots Notes I purchased from a small bookshop in Britain.  The Prints are just some of the few I sent to Pyro 10-11 years ago.  I got the drawings and other prints from the NASM.  Great Folks to deal with.

The Beau is in the new Tobruk thing but that's not the same game as IL-2 Great Battles. Same group of devs but separate game altogether. Think it's in the Cliffs of Dover branch.

In il2: Tobruk they have the Beau and the Dewoitine D.520.  But it's a whole different type of game than AH.
If you like offline campaigns it might be worth a try.

So, do you really think I don't know how to put my sounds in that game?  :devil
