Title: Skinning for dummies

Let’s say if someone wanted to get into building skins, are there any web sites or references on where to start, proper building layers and what tricks for different layers to achieve realistic visuals. Played around with it in AH2 but I was a graphic designer at the time. Sitting in illustrator and photoshop at work then going home to do the same wasn’t appealing. Career has changed so I’ve come around to getting into it.
