Title: Changing in game ID
Post by: blckshp1 on July 19, 2020, 05:59:03 PM
I'd like to get my old ID again if it isn't taken. Do I need to contact HTC directly or can someone help me through here? Thanks in advance.

You will have to contact HTC.
The only changes you can make are changing to "caps" or "lower case" letters of the name you have now.

Like Fugi said; to get your old name back you have to contact HTC. You will lose all the perks you have accumulated under your current name.

Guys,

I believe if your old name is available you can change to it without assistance from HTC.  Select O'club from clipboard (I think have to be logged into an online arena) then select Change Game ID.

Enter the ID you want and click "Test Availability".  It'll either say "Taken" or "available" or something to that effect.  If the ID is available, you can assume the name by clicking OK (I think).  You probably get a warning about losing all your perk points and an "Are You Sure?" prompt, I can't recall.  But I think you can pick a completely new name - it's no longer limited to only changing the case of the letters in your name.
