Title: WIRB appears indestructable after bombs dropped on it

Dropped 500 lb bomb right next to wirb no apparent damage.

Dropped 250 lb bomb direct hit only apparent damage is track came off.

How did this not kill the wirb?

Looks about right 500lbs and below need to be direct. 1000lbs are the only ones with enough umph to splash kill them.

Wouldn't the concussion alone from such a near blast be enough to incapacitate/kill the crew?

Probably, if crew incapacitation were modeled, but I don't think it is considering majority of HE just bounces.

I've had 1k bombs fall close to my m3, all i got was a ringing in my ears from the explosion. but I've played long enough to know sometimes it happens.

once we dropped no joking about 500 bombs around a tank. he finally died his id was jesus and that's not a joke.

I've identified the problem, the reason why the whirb didn't die is because I wasn't driving it.  I'd for sure be sent to the tower if i was in that thing.  :cool:
