Got a PC capable of playing AH and supporting the Quest at the same time (Dell G5 gaming PC with RTX2060 card).
Connected Oculus to PC using included USB3c cable.
Started AH.
AH asked if I wanted to use VR. ("Yay!" I think. It's going to work!!)
Put on the quest.
All I see is a plain AHII splash screen with 'loading...'
If I take off the quest, the game goes back to running on the PC and I can login, choose airfield and launch.
Put quest back on and I still hear the AH sounds in the background, but also still stuck on the loading screen.
Is it maybe having to download something to the Quest and I just need to wait? (Waited 10 minutes already.)

A couple things you can try.
Make sure the Link is enabled and active and that you're at the Oculus home screen not the Quest home screen. You may need to select Aces High on the menu bar.
Minimize any open windows and see if they are hiding any relevant messages.

Are you using the standard Quest cable or the special link cable?

Good point. The included cable is a power cable for charging the battery.
I bought a $12 USB C 3.1 Gen2 cable and that works fine for the link.

Yeah, what FLS said. You need a 3.1 USB C cable for the Quest to connect to the Oculus PC software. It does work for Aces High as I've flown with it. (My boys use the Quest, I use the Acer WMR)
