Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin, which is an adoption of one done in 2006 by Texmurph.
This natural metal finish Ki-84 flew as part of the second squadron of the 73rd Sentai in November 1944. This unit first equipped with the Ki-84 in May 1944 and was based in Japan until December of that year when it was transferred south to counter the US invasion of the Philippines. After two months of fighting over the islands however it lost almost all its aircraft and was effectively destroyed.

How do you guys get so close in your screenshots without distorting the skin?
I use the Zoom key but when I zoom in too much I still get the slightest bit of fisheye. But when I back off enough for it to look proportional I loose some resolution/fidelity.
-
Possibly you have your field of view set wider than me in video settings, mine is set to 105 degrees. Or you just need to zoom in less and crop more off the edge of the shot later.

I think it is the former. The problem with zooming in less is that the object loses detail.
I'll take a look at my FOV as I think it is 120 or something like that. (Not on this laptop. It's the default in here, but the screen is so small that I still get some distortion if I get too close. I may post some examples later.)
Thanks for the info. :salute

I use a FOV of 106.
Also, you can manually adjust the FOV in the film viewer by using the bracket keys: "[" and "]"

I don't use the film viewer. I don't know how you get anything good out of that thing.
I used to get some good stuff using my NVidea GeForce recorder but the latest update bricked it, so it just crashes. :bhead

That's how I've always got screen shots from the game. Play around with it and leave a bit of room to crop out, you'll get some good shots.

Fly your skin offline and save the film. Do a bunch of turns and banks and climbs and go inverted. Spend about 10-15 minutes over an isolated field. Use that film to take screenshots.

Okay. I'll try to do that tomorrow while sitting in the hotel staring out the window. Lol
