Team,
I updated my stats on this. I'll be adding more planes in time. I think there is a good starter set below though.

Interesting, the F4U1A takes a huge hit from the DT mount. I may have to re-think my upping parameters.
Thanks for doing this X15. I'm looking forward to see the Yak3 on some of your tests to see if my perceptions of it's OP-ness are valid.

I thought you knew this since it does not have a pylon....Same as the -1 model...Later F4U models are built to carry ords w/o impact.

I did not know this, and in fact asked the very question in game a couple of weeks ago and no one else knew.
Seems like it might be the difference between being able to outrun a gang of yak3s vs getting chased down.
PS I hate Yak3s

Thanks for doing the testing, good info. :salute
Got me wondering about the effect of rocket rails/racks/tubes.
TAS at edge of radar ring with/without empty rocket rails/racks/tubes. (5k start, level flight, 25% fuel, MIL power.)
190A-5 332 / 348
Mossie Mk VI 322 / 332
P38-L 343 / 343
Interesting that the empty rocket racks have no effect on P38-L airspeed.
-
The P38 L sheds the rocket racks once the rockets are expended. The J model keeps the tube after the rockets are used.

The new art shows the empty racks attached. Maybe a problem with the art?

I think your turn rotation is wrong for either the Typhoon or Tempest, I believe one rotates right, and the other left....my favorite rides and I cant remember which does what. Your notes have them the same though.
I wish I had kept my notes for climb rate of planes carrying their ords. Pretty sure the P38 is king there though, I just hate how it flies.
